Has anyone been watching "The Voice?"
My observation is that the show looks like a spinoff of American Idol. Is the Voice an attempt to revive the concept originated by the American Idol and seize the opportunity to grab the viewers that no longer watch the Idol? This is not only my opinion but has been projected by the latest polls. With American Idol you watch the show and hope that the most talented and humble person will win. Someone you can relate to?
Lately I've started worrying that I'm not getting enough boredom in my life. If I'm watching TV, I can fast-forward through commercials. If I'm standing in line at the store, I can check email or play "Angry Birds." When I run on the treadmill, I listen to my iPod while reading the closed captions on the TV. I've eliminated boredom from my life.
Now wait. Is it because I am bored that I fill my time with easy to access applications or click and search Google to alleviate my spare time? What value comes from this?

I’m Mindy Byers, with MegaMouth networks and co-host for Outlaw Radio. It is never a boring moment when I am expressing my opinion or take on certain issues and hot topics. What are my rules for topics? There are none.
