In our never-ending quest to provide contest on the site, many of us here at the Outlaw Radio Network are going to be writing some weekly blog posts – or even more often, if stories allow.  My initial feeling about these posts is that they will be an ever evolving statement of what we are thinking at any given time.  And while I can’t speak for Paul, Jammer, or anyone else who will be posting stories to the site, I know that my weekly blog post will touch on a bunch of random issues that we may or may not talk about on our weekly radio show or podcast.

I do promise, though, that this blog will be 100% KDawg.  No, I won’t be having any one write for me and throw my name on it, nor will I have any one else tell me what to write about.  Instead, these are the ramblings of the loose cannon, KDawg.

I open this week’s blog post with some random thoughts about the world around us.  As always, your thoughts are welcome – you can always email me at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it , and every email will be answered.

Unless it’s stupid, and then, I probably won’t.

Later in this week’s blog, for that matter, I will answer a very interesting email I got concerning Paul, Lesbians and a drastic call for action.  Be sure to check it out…

First, random thoughts:

-         It seems Barack Obama may be in a little over his head.  Between dealing with the economy, auto bailout, bank bailout, home mortgage assistance, wars in Afghanistan and Iraq and his most recent trip to Europe to try to lure the Olympics to ChiTown, Obama has now undertaken the goal of trying to get the Cap & Trade pollution policy passed.  Cap & Trade essentially gives all companies a certain number of pollution credits – think of it like a 12 year old kid at a video arcade.  The kid can play video games as long as he has quarters.  Once the quarters are gone, he can’t play anymore.  Cap & Trade is pretty much the same idea.  Corporations can pollute, but they use credits to do it.  Once they are out of credits, they can’t pollute anymore unless they want a big fine.  Here’s the kicker – If corporations find they are running out of credits, they can purchase them from other companies who don’t plan to use theirs.

While I never was one who completely believed in the whole “Global Warming” theory, it would seem to me to B-Rock (my nickname for him) and the rest of the Democrats have it all wrong.  Either A – you want to stop pollution, so you pass laws and reforms that make it less profitable and more damaging to pollute, or B – you don’t want to stop pollution, so you don’t pass any laws because you don’t care.  Passing this law is pretty much like saying “Hey, we’d like you to stop polluting…but not today…and, if you have a lot of money, you can keep doing it for a while.  We don’t mind.”

-         It seems the vultures are circling at CBS, as their head brass are debating what to do about David Letterman.  Not to piss all over Jammer’s excellent entertainment report, heard on every Outlaw Radio Network live broadcast during the 3rd hour (unless he leaves early and doesn’t do it, the bastard), here is the story about Letterman.  It seems a CBS producer tried to blackmail him because Letterman has been having sex with women who work for him, and according to some sources, it’s been going on for years, even though Dave is married.  This wouldn’t be ok at any office in the country – a boss is not allowed to engage in a relationship with a coworker, or risk a lawsuit at best.  However, this is CBS, which in this case stands for Complete Bull Shit.  It seems rather hypocritical to be pissed at Letterman for banging someone who worked for him when their CEO – Les Moonves – dated and later married a CBS employee – Julie Chen – who then happens to be named host of one of their biggest shows, Big Brother.

-         Lastly, here is an email I received from a listener who didn’t really approve of the end of last week’s live show.  I am not editing it, fixing their piss-poor spelling or correcting their grammer:

“dear kdogg

after listening to the podcast of your show from thursday I was completly and totally offended at the racist and unfair statements made to the caller at end of your show as a lesbian myself I find what he said to be hateful and degradading to members of the glbt community  I must insist that paul be removed form the show or I20will not be tuning in your show again in the future  I am sure that other members of the gay and lesbian community feel the same way.

My response is as follows:

            Dear Tabby

After reading your email, I feel as though we at the radio show20have done you a great disservice.  We have based our show on providing differing viewpoints to reasonable, intelligent people, regardless of their political beliefs or viewpoints.  Clearly, from your email, you are neither reasonable nor intelligent.

First off, when writing to a media mastermind such as myself, how about you but a little effort into spelling my name correctly!  I won’t even mention the rest of the grammatical errors, typos and poor word choice in your email (well, except say that Paul said nothing “racist” about your situation – unless gays and lesbians are a new race of people, which I have not yet been made aware of).  Clearly, you also know nothing about punctuation or capitalization, proving that your high school diploma isn’t worth the toilet paper it’s printed on.

Your assertion that Paul should be removed from the show is almost as stupid.  True, he has very little patience for members of the gay and lesbian community – that being said, if we kicked people off the air because they didn’t believe in what we believed, Paul would have never let the lesbian girl on the air in the first place.

While I am saddened that you will not be enjoying our show again in the future, I remind you that as adamant as Paul is against your cause, I have been equally adamant for your cause.  Clearly, you only care to hear an opinion if it supports your own, and this is not the idea that our show is based on.

Lastly, and this is just my opinion, I think your email may have set back the gay and lesbian movement by leaps and bounds.  If your demographic were to be judged by your email, we might assume that you are all uneducated, unintelligent morons who can barely put two thoughts together.

My advice?  Go back to sucking dick.  I think you would help the gay and lesbian cause far more by being straight than you could possibly help them by being gay.

God Bless!

KDawg

That concludes this blog.  I can’t wait for the hate mail to fly in.  You can send to me personally at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
